This Saturday, December 9th, starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Consistorial building in Valparaíso, the First Council for a Sustainable City will take place. In which topics such as Sustainability, Circular Economy, and Collaborative Economy will be presented will the objective of educating people and adapting methodologies developed by national experts, all to make Valparaíso the first city with Circular Economy by the year 2020.
This event, sponsored by Ecosistema de Reciclaje de Valparaíso (which EcoEd is part of), wants to lay the foundations to create a network of agents that act as a sustainable economic unit, where everyone plays a specific role in the management of waste.
On this occasion, prominent national experts will share their experiences regarding the topics; together with more than 40 local sphere groups will enable us, through workshops, to take the first steps to make Valparaíso the first city with a circular economy.
To make this possible it is necessary, and welcomed, the participation of all key agents, whom together with the local community will boost the city sustainably in the next few years. To attend, you just have to fill this application or simply sign up the same day. However, there are limited allocations so it is better to sing up beforehand in order to facilitate the organization of the event.
If you want to learn about the topics or believe that you can help Valparaíso be the first Circular Economy of the country, then please consider attending this event. Become part of the Ecosystem!
